Weekend Shennanigans

Well it’s already Thursday and i’m just getting around to writing about my weekend! This weekend was filled with many fun activities! Bobby goes away on an annual fishing trip with his buddy every year up in Pulaski, NY so I had a fun filled weekend with some girl friends.

Friday night my friend Danielle and I headed to Providence Place for dinner and to look for my dress for her wedding.  I found the most amazing dress (a little more expensive then I would normally spend) at Nordstroms. I talked myself into buying it because, I have a few weddings coming up and this dress can be worn more than once. Anything to make myself feel better about spending that amount of money on a dress right?

Saturday I had Danielle’s bachelorette party. I met her through our boyfriends and she has become a really great friend of mine. She is one of the most genuine people I have ever met and I am so happy for her to be getting married in a few short weeks! We went to get our nails done in the am, and then headed into Boston for the night that afternoon with all the ladies.

We went to dinner at this amazing Italian restaurant called Rustic Kitchen, and our waiter Gustavo was the best! I had a baked Rigatoni with Veal Meatballs..nomnomnom. This place was only a few minutes from our hotel which made it super convenient. We then headed back to the hotel for some drinks, we were trying to spend as little money as possible out so we all came prepared. We then headed to Jacques Cabaret, which seems to be one of the hottest spots for a bachelorette party in Boston. It was so much fun, and something completely new to me.

Here are a few pics from our crazy night!

Sunday was a lazy day after a long day Saturday. Bobby came home from NY and I was sososososo excited to see him, even though it was only 3 days. 3 days away from your love sure do feel like a lot longer. I have been craving apple crisp, so obviously I ended up making some after dinner. Apple Crisp is the type of dessert where you don’t really need to measure ingredients of have a recipe, so of course it’s one of my favorite things to make.  Just put it over some vanilla ice cream and you have one of the best fall desserts!

until next time,
